Seriously, i dont know whats the rave about the new KTV at the old ICON at bugis. Seriously, there’s nothing to go Rahrah-ing about… Defintely not worth the free publicity.
Much as they got the entire building as the KTV, but the place sucks. FULL of PRCs working, none understand the most basic english that can be used in the f&b + entertainment circle. I think they dont deserve to be hired because they dont know whats “can i have te bill please”. They go like 请问要什么?, and will only understand when you say “结帐”. Hello!!! “BILL” for english is the damn basic word lahz, if u dont want me to pay, den jolly well dont learn that word!
The rooms are really small, much as there’s only 5 of us and we dont need a big room, BUT the room is freaking small compared to Partyworld loh! And whats worse, thou there are special lightings effect that you can play with, but the bloody fu—ing room is like so decorated oredi, the light dont seem to make an effect at all lahz!
And selecting the songs is such a hassle, i still prefer Partyworld’s system, thou their songs are sometimes not so updated!! But that bloody machine, without any remote, not touch-screem but act like touch-screen is wasting quite abit of song selection time!
And the worse thing, its not even as cheap as said by some.. Its freaking EXPENSIVE loh, so what if the drinks are free flow? The drinks like SUCKS extremely bloody, i rather drink tap water than their ermm Ice Mango, Lychee, Green Tea, Grap, Orange.. Its really like water added with “paint” as coloring and abit of “fruits” essence to make it smell like the fruit loh!!! And whats worse, no nuts to chew on, and haf to ask for it then serve, and even worse, expect me to PAY! Like WTH…
One and only experience for me and the peeps i guess… We’re still Partyworld supporters afterall!!!
